TitleThe sifter and the banksia cone
Year 2022
Medium oil on canvas
Dimensions 76 x 76cm
Artist Statement
The sifter and the banksia cone is part of a series of still life works where banksia cones and ‘kitchenalia’ come together. Both the banksia and sifter seem to me to be very still but also ready for action: for winding and singing or feeding.
