Artist Statement

I was inspired to paint the Three Sisters because it is an iconic Australian scene and when I visited, I couldn’t believe how magnificent and beautiful the scenery is in this part of Australia. I also have a personal connection to this area as I was born in Kurrajong in the Blue Mountains.  I enjoyed painting and capturing the blues, purples and khaki greens in this subject.
