Contemporary printmaking on show at Cowra

CONNECTIONS: The Artist/Master Printer exhibition opened on Saturday 17 December at 2pm. Artists Basil Hall, Michael Kempson and Ron McBurnie presented artist talks to the small crowd, along with curator Akky van Ogtrop.

The exhibition introduces the individual and collaborative practice of Basil Hall, artist and founder of Basil Hall Editions; Michael Kempson, artist and founder of Cicada Press; and Ron McBurnie, artist and publisher of Monsoon Publishing. The selection of works from their personal archives includes 28 of their artist collaborators over many years.

"This tells a story of facilitating and shows that the collaboration between an artist and master-printer can create some of the most exciting, innovative and unconventional ideas to the medium. CONNECTIONS: The Artist/Master Printer exhibition dates are18 December 2022 to 5 February 2023 at the Cowra Regional Art Gallery, 77 Darling Street Cowra. Gallery hours - Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm, Sunday 10am – 2pm. General admission is free.
