upstART 2023 Peoples Choice Winner Announced

The People have voted! upstART23 People’s Choice Award co-winners are:

 

Katelyn Shean, Year 11 Boorowa Central School with 'The Great Waste' and

 

Lillian Williams, Year 12, Hennessy Catholic College with ‘O Rejoice Young Man in thy Youth’

 

Voted by visitors to the exhibition of over 100 students in Stages 5/6 from ten secondary schools in the region, Katelyn’s painting ‘The Great Waste’ and Lillian’s ‘O Rejoice Young Man in thy Youth’ mixed media/etching are equal winners of the $150 People’s Choice Award through the generous support of the Gallery Advisory Committee and the Friends of the Gallery fund.
