Essington: New works by Joanna Logue

In March 2009 the Cowra Regional Art Gallery launched the Central West Regional Artists Award in conjunction with the Calleen Art Award. The award is $2,000 (non-acquisitive) and the winner is also invited to present an exhibition of new work at the Cowra Regional Art Gallery.

The inaugural winner of the award was Joanna Logue and this exhibition – Essington: New works by Joanna Logue is presented in association with the award. The exhibition is a multi-layered installation project of paintings, photographs and video art inspired by the natural environment and atmosphere of the landscape surrounding Joanna Logue’s home and studio in Oberon.
