FRUiTS: Tokyo Street Style is the first major exhibition for Japanese photographer Shoichi Aoki. The exhibition showcases a vibrant and engaging collection of images taken in Tokyo between1997–2002. The works capture a radical Japanese fashion subculture that has inspired fashion designers world wide. Guest speakers from the Powerhouse Museum will also talk about the works during the exhibition. A touring exhibition developed by the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney, in association with Shoichi Aoki and supported by Museums and Galleries NSW and Arts NSW through the ITEG program.
