This is an exhibition of 100 beanies from the Alice Springs Beanie Festival. The festival’s ongoing success demonstrates the growth of the beanie as an art form and the imagination, creativity and fine craftsmanship presented in each piece.
This unique and colourful exhibition encapsulates the whimsical essence of the Beanie Festival. Highlights are the collections from Ernabella, Mutijulu and Titjikala communities, regular contributors to this cross-cultural event.
