The Lachlan Valley Biennial Art Awards is open to artists living within 100 kilometres of Cowra. The Cowra Art Group has staged competitive exhibitions for district artists since the 1960s, and the Awards have been hosted by the Cowra Regional Art Gallery since 2001. The presentation in a public gallery offers local artists a unique opportunity to reach new audiences.
