Mandy Martin: Homeground

Mandy Martin

10 February to 18 March 2018

This exhibition is a survey project that focuses on work created by Mandy Martin after she came to live near Mandurama in the Central West of New South Wales.

The works chosen for this exhibition reflect 20 years in the region, and address Mandy Martin’s deep unease about the landscape in which she lives. Environmental issues relating to water security, the impact of the region’s coal-fired power stations and open cut mines are central concerns. Homeground features guest artists Alexander Boynes and Trisha Carroll.

A Bathurst Regional Art Gallery Touring exhibition.
