The Calleen Collection: 40 Year Anniversary

17 December 2017 to 4 February 2018

This exhibition celebrates The Calleen Collection founded in 1977 by Cowra arts patron Mrs. Patricia Fagan, OAM, who also established the acquisitive Calleen Art Award – the winning work becoming part of The Calleen Collection. Following the opening of the Cowra Regional Art Gallery in 2000, The Calleen Collection became the foundation collection of the Gallery.

All the works in The Calleen Collection will be on display, including works by Mandy Martin, Greg Daly, Claire Martin, Rowen Matthews, Meg Buchanan, David Fairbairn, Yvonne Boag, Peter Gardiner and Martin Coyte from New South Wales, and Naomi White, G.W.Bot, Gladdy Kemarre and Zai Kuang from interstate, to name a few.
