"Paths of Rhythm" Video Production Workshop

Join a video production workshop with video artist Gustralia aka DJ King Brown.

Gus is inviting participants to be involved in a collaborative community-based video workshop where he will be instructing participants on how to capture and manipulate video with both new and old equipment, showing just how easy and fun it can be. Some of the footage will be used as on stage visuals as part of his performance for Bell Beats Music & Arts Festival.

The first half of the workshop will be diving into some of the camera specifics and using video software called Da Vinci Resolve as well as answering questions about any gear anyone might bring along.

The second part the group will be out and about to stroll down the main street of Cowra and surrounds to capture some of the iconic imagery of the town.

All ages, parents welcome to stay to supervise, as we will be leaving the gallery to walk the main street.

ABOUT GUS ARMSTRONG
Gus is a regional artist working in the mediums of photography, video and sound based in post-industrial Kandos.

His works intersect how humans interact with their own built and natural environments to document how our society lives today celebrating the huge and impressive amount of converging cultures into our amazing landscape.

He has been in many solo and group exhibitions in New South Wales including Carriageworks Sydney, Firstdraft, Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, Mudgee Arts Precinct having won the inaugural MAP Portrait Prize and most recently at Cowra Regional Art Gallery as part of the Rewritten Ground exhibition.
