Let's get creative and explore the world of concertinas with artist and tutor Catherine Bennett in this fun school holiday workshop!

Create a concertina book filled with your own drawings. In this drawing workshop, you will use a variety of media to create a series of drawings that will form the pages of your book. You will visit the Vibrations in Australian Drawing exhibition at Cowra Regional Gallery to get inspired. Learn how to make a folding book with front and back covers. Each page will tell a unique story about you!

Artist and Tutor: Catherine Bennett

Catherine is a Cowra-based artist and art tutor. Originally trained in Ceramics at East Sydney Technical College, Catherine practices and teaches across a range of disciplines and mediums. She has exhibited at Cowra Regional Art Gallery and Grenfell Gallery. Catherine’s has extensive experience as a tutor and teacher working at numerous organisations such as Cowra and Orange TAFE NSW, Weigelli Centre Aboriginal Corporation, Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre and Orange, Cowra and Wagga Wagga Regional Galleries. She has led a number of community projects in the Central West region.
